Alternatively, you can send an electronic transfer if you use internet banking.
If you are late booking holidays in Kenya, you can also use your card to pay into our bank in Lamu when you arrive. However the bank will charge 4.5%, and it may be cheaper to take cash out of the Lamu ATM to pay.
The basic cost is £55 per person per day. This applies to couples who are willing to share and sole travellers joining an existing trip. If you want the boat to yourselves as a couple, you can hire the dhow exclusively by paying for three people. If you are a single traveller, you can guarantee your trip by paying £85 a day to cover wages, food and fuel, which will revert to £55 a day if someone else joins.
